Pushing Innovation Forward: Second Project Meeting of “Good, Better, the Best Car Mechanic” in France
The second transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ innovation project “Good, Better, the Best Car Mechanic” recently took place in France, hosted by the prestigious National School Professional De L’automobile GARAC PM.
This ambitious project, coordinated by Vilnius Automotive School (Lithuania), aims to develop a smart e-platform designed specifically for organizing car mechanic skills competitions. The platform will serve not only the European Car Mechanic Junior (ECMJ) international school network but will also be a valuable resource for various skills competitions and training initiatives across Europe.
During the meeting, the spotlight was on video tutorials and documentation for practical tasks. And the energy? Absolutely electric! All six partner teams showcased incredible creativity, technical know-how, and collaborative spirit—the results were nothing short of inspiring.
But it wasn’t all just hard work. The meeting also featured team-building activities, cultural exchanges, and a truly unforgettable international atmosphere. These shared experiences continue to strengthen the bonds between partner institutions and highlight the power of working across borders.
This collaboration is a vivid example of how, by joining forces, we can shape a modern, attractive, and effective future for vocational education in Europe.
Stay tuned—this platform will soon offer around 400 theoretical questions, 12 practical tasks, and a range of tools and resources built according to WorldSkills standards. Innovation is on the move—and the future of vocational training is shifting into high gear.
